Six new ways
to spell
Sparkman.
The current mark — a handwritten red script — has served the practice well, but it now reads younger and smaller than the four-location, multi-doctor reality of the brand today. The following six type-driven directions retire the script and reposition Sparkman as the premium family orthodontist of the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico.

Existing wordmark — to be retired
Meridian
"Smiles, refined."
A high-contrast modern serif wordmark, set with restrained tracking and a hairline rule. It reads like a magazine masthead — the orthodontist of record for families who want a quietly premium experience.
- Ink Navy#0E1B2C
- Warm Ivory#F4EFE7
- Brushed Gold#B08A4A
Voltage
"Confidence in caps."
A heavy industrial grotesque set tight as architecture, with the apex of the A subtly stylized as an upward spark. Built to dominate signage, social, and any surface it touches — bold enough for teens, refined enough for parents.
- Jet Black#0A0A0A
- Bone#EFEAE2
- Voltage Coral#FF5A4A
Horizon
"Straight smiles, straight talk."
An extra-wide modern sans set in lowercase, with a tiny chevron above the A nodding to the Panhandle skyline. Earthy, grounded, regional in the best way — built for a practice that knows its zip code.
- Plains Sand#E8DCC4
- Mesa Clay#B8543A
- Deep Sage#2E4034
Monogram S
"Confidence, perfected."
An elegant serif S inside a thin-rule circle, paired with a clean sans wordmark. Feels like a heritage institution without feeling stuffy — works as a doorplate, an embroidery, or a single avatar tile.
- Charcoal#1F2226
- Ivory#F6F2EB
- Antiqued Gold#A8884E
Flare
"Made to shine."
A custom mixed-case display wordmark where the crossbar of the k extends into a clean spark ray — distinctive, ownable, copyrightable. The most expressive of the six and the strongest mark for social-first storytelling.
- Midnight Plum#221830
- Soft Blush#F2E2DA
- Electric Citrus#F2C14E
Atlas
"A practice built on smiles."
A stacked display serif lockup with EST. 1998, anchored by a hairline rule. Reads like an institution that has been part of the community for a generation — exactly what a multi-doctor, multi-location practice should project.
- Forest Green#1E3A2F
- Warm Cream#EFE7D6
- Burnished Copper#A6603A
All six, side by side.
Pick one or two
and we'll go deep.
Selecting one or two favourites unlocks the next round: refined vector logo files, a full identity system (signage, social, print, embroidery, web), and a rebuilt homepage that feels as confident as the practice itself.
